Unbelievable! July 13 marks our 20th Anniversary. The little shop that could... Twenty years staffed by volunteers and supported by shoppers who believe that a fairer, kinder, more inclusive world is doable.
According to Brides.com, emerald is the gemstone for a 20th anniversary, green is the associated color, and "daylilies are the typical flower because of their strong but playful nature." Don't know much about playful daylilies, so we are going to go with spring beauties here, little flowers that show up when the time is right.
We want to start posting our past newsletters, but we have obviously forgotten how fast those quarterly publications stack up. Here is our very first newsletter, published the summer before we officially claimed our home base.
